RE: Time flies.. Like really
Alright, time to update my utterly dead blog. Last post was like 4 years ago??
It has been an enriching and tiring experience in MJC.
Everyday was like lectures, tutorials, homework, CCA, and more homework. Not that I didn't expect this but I am just way glad that it is all over.. at least for now.
Just to summarize my year 1:
Had an awesome choir concert: La Risonanza
It took the whole choir a few months to familiarize with the whole repertoire and memorise all the lyrics(yes, it's a great pain if u didn't know)
Made friends with awesome seniors like Cassell, Amias, Royden, Zi Ang and many more :)
Thanks for taking care of me for the past year!
Studies:
Hahahahahaha, other than doing homework every single day of my J1, I can't remember doing anything else. Well, I believe that the workload(homework) is good enough to keep u extremely busy with school life
PW(Project Work):
HAHA A pain in the Ass I have to admit. But it was truly memorable playing daidi and bridge together with my group mates during "discussions". Honestly, I wanted to be the leader but I realized I was wayyyy too inexperienced to be a leader and my leader(Jing Ni) did a wonderful job man. I seriously am still quite shocked how she can rush through all the slides and mock-ups within like what.. Few hours??
All the best to our PW results!
Exams:
Interim was terrible, but I guess that's what really motivated me to try to pass my tests.
Mid years was fine. Managed to pass most of my subjects.
Promos was surprisingly quite well done, managed to score an A for math, which has been my fav subject since sec 3 ;)
OP exam went smoothly too. Was pretty scared for Q&A but I am so glad I managed to answer it :)
To all my friends who went to JC: Don't give up! It may seem tough but press on!
KAYAKING EXPERIENCE:
Went kayaking together with guang long, Jia Ying and Shu Qi. It was an eye opening experience for me(of course la. So much sea water entered my eye till my eyes became so red 😂).
Thought it will be a good idea to join a water sport cos I believe I will have ZERO time when J2 starts to do anything I want.
Going for ice-skating soon! Prolly the last activity I can enjoy become mountain loads of homework find their way into my bag!
Until next time...
God Bless,
Thaddaeus Teddy
